Make the perfect Charcuterie board;

I’m excited to be partnering with Bristol Farms to create a Charcuterie board inspired by Italy and France — I was obviously excited because it’s my favorite thing to eat & my favorite places that I’ve traveled so far! Also, I’m known as the Charcuterie board creator in my close friend group. It’s just MY THING! The best part about a Charcuterie board is that it’s the perfect creation for people to nibble on at a get-together. I decided to tell you exactly how I create my boards, but you can get creative with it!

I got cheeses from Italy, 2 from France, 3 meats, 4 vehicles (breads & crackers) & 4 accoutrements!

Note: I prefer to have an even number of cheeses and meats or 1 more cheese!

Cheeses: I make sure to include a range of soft to firm cheeses, with different flavor profiles!

Istara Ossau-Iraty — somewhat firm, smoothly flavored sheep’s milk cheese – France

Isigny Ste-Mère Mimolette (aged 12 months) — sharp but mild cheese, intensely fruity and nutty, subtle notes of caramel (this one was firm because of its age) – France

Caciotta Tartufo — semi-soft cheese infused with black truffle shavings – Italy

Carboncino — soft, rich and creamy – Italy

Meats:

I headed to the deli counter to get freshly sliced prosciutto, mortadella and Genoa salami! There are also pre-sliced packages available, but I like the process of choosing exactly what I want from the case — oh and the samples of each meat don’t hurt either!

Vehicles:

French baguette, olive bread & Rustic Bakery Sourdough Flatbread (olive oil & sel gris)

Accoutrements: I like to pick a couple fruits that are in season, some sort of nuts, and something salty! Jams and mustards are also a good touch.

Olives (Bristol Farms has a great olive bar), Marcona almonds, grapes & peaches

I’ve collected my wooden and marble boards over time, but have found most of them from Home Goods! I also love to add a little bit more color with flowers and greenery. Also, how gorgeous is this table? It’s in Joshua Tree at a place I stayed recently called Pioneertown Rockstar! Full review of that trip coming soon!

Bristol Farms has everything you need to create the perfect Charcuterie board! They’re also hosting a Charcuterie challenge until this coming Sunday, October 7th. The winner scores $300! Check out the details here!

I’m also hosting a giveaway for 2 $50 gift cards to Bristol Farms, so you have a chance to create your own Charcuterie board! Don’t forget to grab a delicious wine to enjoy with your beautiful creation! Head to my instagram to find out how you can enter!

Happy Entertaining,

Corey, Miss Foodie Problems
